MY PREVIOUS AND FUTURE PROJECTS
Recently started working with a team on a project to create an authentic server experience for the game Minecraft. With a small team of developers, I’m in charge of the design aspect—crafting a strong and visually distinctive brand design for the server and everything related to it. This also includes 3D modelling custom assets, some of which have already been imported and made functional. This is my step into the world of game design, as well as a good introduction to level design. While it's still early in development, I’m using this opportunity to learn about the world of game dev and the importance of proper planning.
Earlier this year, I worked on design assets and visual adjustments for a group of mixing engineers and music producers. This included creating a vectorized and refined version of their existing logo, preparing video content for social media, and designing various assets for their Instagram account—such as story icons, the “About Us” story, cover images, and an adjusted Instagram logo. I collaborated closely with the group’s founders to develop a design that aligned with their vision. Through this project, I was introduced to Figma, began learning the basics of DaVinci Resolve, and further expanded my skills in the Affinity 2 workspace.
A future project of mine will be a coding journey to transform my current website from the basic, limited design of Google Sites into a much more personalized, custom-coded style. I already have a solid understanding of web development, having built websites multiple times before. This project will be an opportunity to design and develop the site in my own way using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. I also plan to focus on improving the site's responsiveness, accessibility, and user experience, while exploring more advanced features like animations and interactive components. The goal is not just to create a website to host my portfolio, but for the site itself to be part of the showcase—demonstrating my skills as both a designer and a developer.
Over the years, many of my works have been lost, accidentally deleted, or simply not saved, which has left my current portfolio somewhat lacking. Because of that, my plan for this year and the next is to triple the amount of work in my portfolio. I aim to create a diverse and well-rounded collection that not only reflects my current skills but also shows my growth as a designer. This will help me better showcase my abilities, demonstrate consistency, and open up more opportunities for freelance work, collaborations, and professional development.
Around September of last year, I was tasked with refreshing the brand design for Bar Škorpijon, a well-established local business. The update was prompted by the launch of a new branch of their business—a bakery. My work involved modernizing their logo, selecting a fitting color palette, and creating multiple logo variations for use across social media platforms. I also contributed to the start-up promotion by managing their social media account and designing its visual appearance for the initial campaign. Since then, I’ve continued to work with them, creating various promotional materials as well as product packaging and designs.
